Salt Lake City—IAT User Conference attendees will learn how to motivate collectors (and themselves) from keynote speaker and industry veteran, Lacey Cherrington, Vice President of Checknet, Inc., April 14th – 17th in New Orleans, LA.

A Utah-based dialing technology company, IAT offers a choice of site-premised and hosted dialing solutions for the collection industry. At the Annual User Conference, IAT trains customers on their dialing technology and provides guest speakers to cover other important topics of interest to clients. This year’s conference theme, “Jazz it Up,” centers around the idea of doing a little extra or something different to drastically improve your collections process.

Cherrington began working as a collector in her family-owned collection agency and worked her way through the various positions to Vice President. She will teach attendees how to help their organization stay jazzed about collections and how her collection agency continues to succeed through economic ups and downs.

“It’s never too late for a new idea to keep your collectors motivated,” Cherrington said. “At the User Conference, I’ll share how our company has succeeded since 1966 and how we’re still going strong.”

IAT selected Cherrington as a keynote speaker after she was well-received at an IAT-sponsored webinar presentation last fall. Cherrington has experience speaking to both government and merchant-based organizations.

“Keeping a collector productive and happy to be at work can be tricky, but it’s crucial to succeeding in the collections industry,” Dave Rudd, IAT President and CEO, said. “Lacey Cherrington is an excellent speaker with great ideas and an energy our customers can use to make a difference in the atmosphere and overall productivity in their offices.”

The IAT User Conference is scheduled for April 14th – 17th, 2009, New Orleans, LA. It is open to all IAT Customers. For more information, please visit http://www.iat-cti.com/register.asp.
