Salt Lake City, Utah — MiraMed Revenue Group© recently announced the agency is keeping collections revenue steady by using IAT’s CT Center—both predictive dialing and IVR messaging.

“The dialer isn’t going to give you more money when there are no debtors who can pay you,” Donne Viau, MiraMed Telephony Administrator, said. “But the dialer steadies revenue. We aren’t as impacted by the economy. We’ve been doing pretty well, and we’re looking at growth.” Viau said other factors include MiraMed’s hiring process, incentive programs and the setting of new benchmarks.

An agency in Lombard, Illinois, MiraMed Revenue Group, a division of MiraMed Global Services©, installed CT Center in 2007 on the recommendation of Sandy Schade, MiraMed Senior Vice President, who used the system at a previous company. MiraMed uses IAT’s predictive dialing and IVR Messaging to make many more contacts; more contacts means talking to more debtors and collecting more debt.

IAT, a Utah-based company founded in 1986, specializes in dialing technology for the collection industry and provides both site-premised dialers and hosted solutions, with predictive dialing and IVR Messaging (broadcast messaging) capabilities.

Viau’s dialer knowledge has grown through utilizing IAT training opportunities, including customer webinars and the Annual User Conference, which in turn helps him know how to contact even more debtors. “IAT webinars have been extremely helpful and have supplied us with tips and solutions to aid in our recovery techniques,” said Viau. “The Inbound automated payment option has been huge for us, and now we are using IC [IVR Messaging] to call new placements and weed out disconnects and wrong numbers before they get to the agents. Both ideas came from IAT webinars.”

“The variety of training opportunities offered by IAT expands customers’ knowledge on current and soon-to-be released technology. The User Conference and Regional Training Seminars also give them opportunities to network with their peers on practical, day-to-day dialer use,” Marti Lythgoe, IAT Marketing Manager, said. “We have found that customers who take advantage of frequent training opportunities can more easily maximize the efficiency of their CT Center system.”
