Prosperity America, Inc. recently was privileged to host U.S. Congressman Lynn A. Westmoreland (R-GA) at its Columbus, Ga. headquarters.

Congressman Westmoreland was interested in learning about Prosperity America’s mission, to hire veterans and their dependents, first hand.  The principal area of discussion involved job creation and what initiatives could be developed to address the pressing issue of high Veteran unemployment, and job migration overseas. The Congressman spent some time meeting with some of our many veterans and active duty dependents, and thanked them for their contribution.

One topic of interest was H.R. 3596, which Prosperity America strongly supports.  This legislation, the U.S. Call Center Work and Consumer protection Act, requires that the Department of Labor to track firms who send jobs overseas and would preclude those firms from participating in any direct or indirect federal loans or loan guarantees.  Prosperity believes that passage of this legislation will help shield American jobs and asks the ARM industry to support it as well.
