Account Control Technology, Inc. (ACT), a national leader in delivering debt management and recovery solutions, is pleased to announce that for the second consecutive year the company has been featured in Inc. magazine’s Hire Power Awards recognizing the private businesses generating the most jobs. ACT generated 222 jobs from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, ranking it #56 in the top 100 private business job creators nationwide, as well as within the top 10 in California and the top 10 within the financial services industry.

Earlier this year, ACT was recognized as an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private company for the seventh consecutive year. The company offers consultative debt management and collection solutions for colleges and universities, state guarantors, private lenders, and consumer service providers.

“At ACT, our mission is to improve the financial well-being of clients, consumers and employees,” said Nabil Kabbani, CEO of ACT. “To meet our mission, we have invested heavily in our people and our communities, and it is an honor to be recognized as a top job creator at the national level.”

ACT is among the 437 private growth companies that are Hire Power Awards honorees, leading the way in creating more American jobs. Industries with the most Hire Power companies include health, financial services, software, human resources and IT services. States with the most honorees include California, Florida, Texas, Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and Utah.

“For the second year in a row, we are pleased to recognize the employers who are putting Americans back to work,” says Eric Schurenberg, Editor-in-Chief of Inc. “The Hire Power Awards are the only awards that single out job creators. We think it’s fitting to pay tribute to company founders not just for their business prowess but also for their immense contribution to the welfare of U.S. workers and the vitality of the U.S. economy.”

Companies featured in Inc.’s November issue represent the top tier winners for the Higher Power Award, and a complete list of the winners can be found on www.Inc.com. An awards ceremony, sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will take place November 12, 2013 in San Francisco.
