BillingTree®, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors, today announced the appointment of Matt Llewellyn as Vice-President of Sales dedicated to the Healthcare Market. The company recently announced the appointment of David Roberts as new President and Chief Executive Officer and Matt Llewellyn’s appointment is part of an aggressive new expansion drive to perpetuate over five years of consecutive record growth.

Prior to joining BillingTree, Matt Llewellyn held senior positions at RelayHealth, HRS Erase and NDCHealth. He will draw from his experience working with healthcare organizations on their strategic planning challenges to increase the integration of BillingTree’s payment solutions within healthcare provider business systems.

“I’m delighted to join BillingTree as it moves into its next growth phase, extending the reach of their technology and level of service to a broader audience of clients,” said Matt Llewellyn, speaking on his appointment. “BillingTree has made a name for being progressive, and I’m happy to be a part of that continued innovation…I started working in the healthcare industry in 1992 and the scale of change has been phenomenal, driven by companies like this who are constantly evolving and reshaping the landscape.”

“There has been a big push in healthcare to use more technology,” Matt Llewellyn said. “By providing high quality ‘Tier One’ client support and integrating best of breed on-line payment solutions into the work-flow, we can help improve the healthcare administrative staff’s operational efficiencies and collection of patient payments.”

Understanding the value healthcare providers place on their practice management, EHR, lab, HIS and other software solution companies; BillingTree plans on expanding and establishing new healthcare technology strategic alliances that complement existing business relationships companies have with their providers.

“Matt is ideally placed to help sustain and build on our existing operations. He has proven success in the healthcare industry, and his knowledge of integrating services is essential to our ongoing strategy.” David Roberts, BillingTree President, commented. “Matt’s leadership and vision from previous experiences as a CEO and VP of Business Development, bring a great new asset to BillingTree.”

BillingTree, along with Matt Llewellyn, will be exhibiting at the upcoming HFMA National Institute at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas June 24-27, 2012.
