Third Party Collection Leader Northland Group Inc. announced recently that its employees donated more than 250 toys and raised an additional $500 in cash as part of the collection agency’s annual “Toys for Tots” drive this holiday season.

“What can I say? Our employees are great people with great hearts,” said Northland Group Inc. President Lance Black. “They truly enjoy bringing smiles to our customers’ faces, and as a natural extension of that desire we’ve always seen great support for worthy causes like Toys for Tots.”

Northland Group employees have been participating in Toys for Tots drives since 2000, according to Black.

“It’s really become a passion for the people here,” he said. “By the very nature of what we do for a living, we understand better than anyone the difficult financial situations so many families have found themselves in the past few years. So it only makes sense that our employees not only feel and understand that financial pain those families are feeling, but that they want to do something to help out as a result.”
