Array Services Group and its family of companies — ProSource, J.C. Christensen and Associates, Inc., and CareCall, Inc. — has been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a Gold Fit-Friendly Company and awarded with the prestigious Workstation Innovation Award for its ongoing efforts to provide a culture of corporate wellness and for demonstrating tangible results. According to the AHA, Array joins an elite group of awardees for this initiative.

“Your creativity and leadership within your organization are an inspiration and you can be proud of the positive health impact you are making”, wrote Nancy Brown, AHA Chief Executive Officer, in her letter to Array.

Array’s on-site Wellness Coach provides nutrition and exercise counseling and works with employees to develop nutrition and exercise plans to meet their individual goals. Fitness challenges and activities designed to help employees keep active, motivated and reduce stress are common at Array and on-site gym equipment help employees save time and money by working out at work.

“I feel like our philosophy of fostering a work/life balance is one of the most important benefits we offer”, said Jim Christensen, owner of Array. “Several times a year we host on-site clinics, health screenings and fairs and we offer healthy lunch catering three days a week.”

In addition to offering services such as flu shots, blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings, and more, Array’s sponsorship of local youth and adult athletic teams encourages employees to get active. As a Fit-Friendly Company, Array will receive recognition on the AHA’s StartWalkingNow.org website and recognition by the AHA at local events and in communication materials supporting the recognition program.
