The News Journal is a prominent Delaware publication and their Top Workplaces results were published on August 16th.  In order to determine the top workplaces, employees anonymously submit surveys rating their employers.  The survey revealed that categories such as “connection, direction, execution, my work and my manager” were weighed atleast as high as pay and benefits in terms of importance value to the employees.

“As we continue to grow in North America and beyond, our commitment to our employees and to providing a quality workplace environment remains steadfast,” said Adam S. Cohen, Esq., Co-Chairman and CEO of Phillips & Cohen Associates. “While we are thrilled with the number one ranking this year, we consider this an ongoing mission.  The feedback we receive through this survey enables us to continually sharpen our focus.”

Matt Phillips, Co-Chairman and CEO of Phillips & Cohen Associates added, “the jump from fifth place last year to first place this year tells us our efforts are paying off for our employees. We recognize that our employees are our most valuable resource, and that it is ever-important to continually ensure they are receiving the attention, direction, training and focus that they need to be successful.”
