The National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys announced today the resignation of its Executive Vice President, Diane Darrow.  Ms. Darrow devoted considerable time and effort, over two separate terms, to build the infrastructure of NARCA into a highly efficient model.

NARCA’s President, Louis Freedman, noted “we are blessed with remarkable support staff that has brought success to our meetings and conferences, and Diane has been instrumental in the development of our current committee system and how we communicate with our membership. Where we are today speaks for itself. I will personally miss her, and we wish her all the best.”

NARCA leadership will form a task force to conduct a search for a new Executive Director and does not anticipate any disruption in operations in the interim.

The National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) is a nationwide trade association of over 700 skilled debt collection law firms and in‐house counsel of creditors. NARCA’s members are required to adhere to a strict Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics. Each attorney employed by a NARCA law firm member is licensed by one or more state’s highest court and is governed by Rules of Professional Conduct that are enforced by a mandatory grievance procedure. NARCA members are committed to the fair and ethical treatment of all participants in the debt collection process.
