Sentry Credit to Begin SSAE 16 Type II Audit

Collection agency Sentry Credit has contracted with IS Partners LLC to perform a Service Organization Controls No. 1 (SOC 1) SSAE 16 Type II audit.   As of June 15, 2011 the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) replaced the SAS 70 Type 2 audit with the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type 2.

This audit was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to report on the design and operating effectiveness of controls of a service provider. Sentry Credit’s control objectives will be closely examined in the areas of organizational structure, administration, physical and environmental controls, and physical and logical security. Sentry Credit has invested significant time and resources into this process to ensure the security, controls, and procedures in its call center operations are closely followed and monitored.
