Senex Services Corp., headquartered in Indianapolis, today announced the appointment of Brose A. McVey, as Vice President, Business Development, which was effective June 1, 2011.

“Brose has been working with Senex as a consultant to retool Senex’s sales and marketing strategy.  After working together, there was a natural fit and adding him to our senior management just made sense.  Brose brings us an amazing understanding of our economy and a powerful sense for marketing and strategy,” says Senex CEO Phil Roberts.  “He matches those skills with an unbelievable professional network and a terrific, innate ability to sell.  We’re simply thrilled to have him join our senior management team,” Roberts said.

“Brose’s appointment is a part of a larger strategy to expand our reach to acute care hospitals, large physician groups, surgery centers, and specialty and rural hospitals.  We also want to engage marketing partners and resellers who serve common clientele.  Brose is helping us refine that plan and he’ll lead its execution,” said Senex Chairman Jonathan Rye.

McVey has been a consultant and strategist to numerous corporations, associations, and non-profits, including Anthem, St. Vincent’s Health, and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA), where he was responsible for grassroots programs and ally development in 11 Eastern states.   In 2003, he established Nexpointe Strategies and Nexpointe Supply Chain Network, which he grew and sold.

McVey is a graduate of Purdue University and former aide to three of Indiana’s United States Senators.  He was a candidate for Congress in 2002 and 2010, where he debated health care reform during consideration of federal health care reform.  McVey was a key consultant to the Administration of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels in the areas of agriculture, energy, and defense development policy.  During a six-year stint in Washington, DC, he served as a senior legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and as Executive Vice President of a national agribusiness group.

Over its 13 year history, Senex Services Corp. has handled over 3.7 million patient accounts worth over $1.8 billion for more than 100 healthcare providers.
