Ontario Systems, a leading receivables technology and services provider, has announced company Co-Founder & Chairman, Wil Davis, will serve as keynote speaker at the organization’s annual customer and collections education conference, Power Up 2013. An entrepreneur, systems engineer, author, and board member, Davis will share his unique perspective on leadership and motivation as concepts, and why team members work toward a common goal.

“For more than 30 years, I’ve been trying to understand how the unique advantages people bring to their companies help breed success,” Davis commented. “In that time, I feel I’ve gained better insight about why people work to begin with, the impact work has on our lives, the differences between positional and personal authority, and the relationship between corporate and personal growth. My goal is to provide Power Up’s attendees with a new outlook on where we get our ideas about work, and how we can make more personally and professionally satisfying decisions about our careers and lives.”

Serving on boards with MutualFirst Financial Corporation, IU Health’s Ball Memorial Hospital, and AAA Hoosier Motor Club, Davis has explored how successful companies have developed a culture of excellence that’s made their employees happier, and margins wider. His ideas were published in the 2005 book, Creating a Culture of Excellence: Changing the World of Work One Person at a Time.

“It’s a gross understatement to say our company would be in a different place today if it weren’t for Wil’s guidance,” said Ron Fauquher, Ontario Systems CEO. “We’ve maintained leadership in the receivables industry by trusting in and relying on our employees. The advantages we’ve gained have come from the work they’ve done. If there’s an expert on how that process was orchestrated, it’s him. We’re excited to share his perspective with the customers who drive our business.”

Power Up 2013 will be held August 5-7 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. Those interested in attending this year’s event can register at http://powerup.ontariosystems.com.
