Essen, Germany-based GFKL, one of the leading receivables management groups in Europe, has founded a new subsidiary: GFKL Service Center GmbH. To support GFKL’s processes in receivables management, the service areas concerned with mail management, digitization and archiving of GFKL Group have been combined in a single service center since October 1, 2014.

The activities of GFKL Service Center GmbH include thorough, state-of-the-art digitization of written documents, targeted mail delivery to the various subsidiaries and sites, and physical archiving of files. By managing these service areas in a centralized way, GFKL Group has been able to reduce processing time, optimize services for its receivables management operations, and react to order peaks in a flexible manner.

Thanks to a high level of automation and efficient processes, the GKFL Service Center is able to deal with approximately 22,000 items of incoming and outgoing mail per day. GFKL combines exceptional services with excellent quality: As it manages and transmits its mail, it uses modern encryption technology.

The GFKL site in Gelsenkirchen was opened in early 2014 and currently employs about 74 staff. The building was fitted with the highest security and data protection standards.
