Under sponsorship from Barclays, Ghana and in partnership with Maris Strategies, PIC Solutions will be facilitating at Innovation Ghana – a Think Tank for Affordable Housing.

This is the first of a series of Innovation Africa workshops and takes place in Accra, Ghana on 15-16 February, 2007. The think tank involves participants from organisations such as the African Development Foundation, the British High Commission, the Centre for Economic Policy Analysis CEPA, the Ministry of Trade Industry Private Sector Development and PSI, DIFD Ghana, the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Lands, Forestry and Mines, the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing, University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and The West Africa Business Association Ghana.

Joe DiVanna, Managing Director of Maris Strategies, which is managing and co-ordinating the workshop, states, "Our Innovation Think Tanks are created to address socio-economic issues impacting society. Affordable housing is a major concern for all developing countries and during this workshop, organisations will actively participate and brainstorm how to address these challenges with practical solutions. This prestigious event is the first of eight across Africa and we look forward to the rewarding outcome of turning obstacles into opportunities.”
