We have all seen glimpses of what the individuals personally touched by the earthquakes in Haiti are going through on the news, internet, and radio; from the distant comforts of a world that affords us the luxury of not being able to fully comprehend such devastation.  Aware that it is simply not possible for each of us to go there; donating seems the best choice to help make a viable difference so that those left behind can rebuild their lives.

And that is just what National Recovery Service in Ottawa Kansas intends to do.  NRS has a strong reputation for giving back to their local community.  With donations to such organizations as American Red Cross, school districts, KVC, and the local Youth Action Council; it is evident they want to make a difference in  their community.  Through their Collector’s For Change project, NRS has made an ongoing commitment to the community on a monthly basis.  However, due to the recent chain of events in Haiti, NRS will match employee contributions and donate to the Red Cross to aide in the relief efforts.

The final amount donated may be small in relation to the catastrophes that have occurred but NRS feels confident that their modest contribution will help make a difference.
