The Account Control Technology Foundation (herein ACT Foundation), a non-profit, charitable foundation established by the founders of Account Control Technology, Inc. (ACT), is now accepting applications for its 2014 scholarships, which include 50 $1,000 awards through two programs.

The ACT Second-Year Scholarship Program is for current college first-year students who plan and qualify to enroll as sophomores in a four-year college or university in the Fall of 2014. A total of 25 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students nationwide.

The ACT Cares Community Scholarship Program is for graduating high school seniors from select communities surrounding ACT’s offices who will attend a four-year college or university beginning in the Fall of 2014. Applicants must be current seniors at high schools within select counties, including Kern and Los Angeles counties in California; Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; and Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tom Green counties in Texas. A total of 25 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

The ACT Foundation was established by ACT’s founders, Dale and Debbie Van Dellen, to support education, build financial literacy, fund vital charities and provide community support. In 2013, the Foundation awarded $50,000 to college students through its scholarship programs, and another $21,053 in funds to charitable organizations.
