The Judgment Group was named a Finalist today in The 3rd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business in three separate categories:  Technology Innovator of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year (up to 100 employees) and Best Turnaround of the Year.

The Stevie Awards have been hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars.”  (New York Post, April 27, 2005).  The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide.  The elegant Stevie trophy was designed by R. S. Owens, the same company that makes the Oscar and the Emmy.

More than 600 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.  Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.  Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging.  Winners will be announced during a gala event in New York in March.

“For more than six years, our team has worked hard to become Maryland’s leading professional judgment enforcement firm,” said Susan Wilson, Managing Partner of The Judgment Group.  “In the last year, a significant focus on technology has drastically increased the operational and financial success of the company.  So it’s particularly nice to be acknowledged in three separate categories for those accomplishments.”

“Being named a Finalist in The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.  “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of recognition.  We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”

“As you can imagine, we’re very excited about this honor,” added Susan Wilson.  “We’re particularly proud of the firm’s accomplishments in 2006 and look forward to another exciting year in 2007.”
