PHNS announced that the Public Health Trust, an agency and instrumentality of Miami-Dade County, Florida that operates Jackson Health System, including Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida (Jackson), has entered into an agreement for PHNS to provide receivables management services to Jackson’s Patient Financial Services departments. PHNS was selected after an extensive Request for Proposals process by Jackson. PHNS will provide Jackson with experienced receivables management professionals to perform business office services on both an onsite and remote basis.

PHNS’ Receivables Management Services Division provides proven revenue cycle solutions to hospitals nationwide that covers the entire flow of the collection and follow-up timelines including the following: billing and claims editing; accounts receivable system conversion outsourcing; business office outsourcing; collections for managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, workers’ compensation, and self pay accounts; debt management; denial management; contract compliance and appeals processing; correspondence processing; and patient call center. PHNS’ Receivable Management Services Division also provides revenue cycle consulting, interim management and regional business office management services.
