NRA Group, LLC, and its wholly owned subsidiary American Agencies, joined together this holiday season to donate non-perishable food items to the needy through Central Pennsylvania’s Food Bank. NRA Group encouraged staff members to participate in donating to the Food Bank as well as other charities. The goal this year was to collect at least 1,000 pounds of food, which is slightly less than what was collected in 2011 by NRA Group.

With everyone’s participation and efforts, NRA Group was able to collect an amazing 1,843 pounds of non-perishable food items! The food that was collected will provide approximately 1,650 meals to individuals and families in need across Central Pennsylvania this holiday season.

Steven C. Kusic, President and CEO of NRA Group, states “I am honored to see all of my employees be so generous and kind to their community. There are many individuals and families struggling in these difficult economic times. NRA Group is committed every year to helping organizations throughout Pennsylvania in any way that we can. Giving back to those that are less fortunate is the greatest gift to be given.”

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank distributes more than 15 million pounds of food and grocery products every year to more than 500 soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries in 27 Central Pennsylvania counties. These agencies directly feed thousands of hungry families throughout Central Pennsylvania.
