CBE Group, a leader in the debt collection industry, announced that Alicia Imbouathong, Recruiter for CBE, will present at the Government Revenue Collection Association (GRCA) 2011 Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled for September 7 – September 9, 2011 at the Hilton in St. Louis.

Imbouathong’s session, entitled “Hiring and Inspiring the Right People,” will focus on important components of successful employment and retention in the collection industry.

“I know hiring dedicated and successful employees can be challenging,” Imbouathong said. “In addition to skills and education, debt collectors really need to have the right soft skills and personality. Finding the right person for the job is vitally important to an organization’s future growth.”

The “Gateway to Excellence” event supports GRCA’s drive to pursue excellence in the debt collection industry. In line with this focus, Imbouathong’s session will share key recruiting tools, hiring processes and incentive programs that organizations can utilize to attract, hire and retain top talent.

“Once you find the right person, you must inspire employees to succeed through the right mix of incentives, training, development and social involvement,” Imbouathong said.

Additional topics at the GRCA conference include legal issues, skip tracing, analytics, account scoring and segmentation and more.

Imbouathong coordinates CBE’s hiring process for all collection representatives at CBE’s corporate office. Imbouathong started with CBE in the Operations Department as a collection associate and later transitioned into the Human Resources Department after completing her degree. Her in-depth knowledge of the collection industry coupled with her education and experience, positions her as an expert in recruiting, selecting and hiring top talent in the debt collection industry. Imbouathong is committed to hiring motivated and driven employees and has developed several techniques that help CBE overcome common hiring challenges in the industry. Imbouthong is a graduate of Kaplan University with a degree in Business Management.
