I.C. System President and CEO Ken Rapp Retires

St. Paul, MN – I.C. System’s President/CEO, Ken Rapp, for the past 10 years has retired.  John Erickson, previously the Chief Operating Officer, is the new President/CEO effective immediately.  Mr. Erickson’s promotion had been scheduled for January 1, 2011, and the transition plan was initially shared with all I.C. System employees in early 2010.

System’s Chairman.  “Ken has been instrumental to our success and invaluable during this seamless transition.  We wish Ken the very best and are excited about I.C. System’s future with John as President/CEO.”

John Erickson has held numerous management positions in his 15 years with I.C. System.  As Chief Operating Officer, he managed the Retail Markets and Healthcare divisions and two of the company’s four collection sites.  Prior to being Chief Operating Officer, he was Vice President of Business Divisions and led all of the company’s strategic branding and marketing initiatives.

John Erickson is the fifth president in I.C. System’s 72-year history.  The company announced there would not be any other changes to its Executive and Senior Management teams.
