Gibbsboro, N.J.-based Leib Solutions is proud to support the Inaugural 5K Run for Babies through March of Dimes, which was held this past Sunday on May 22, 2011 in Philadelphia.  There were 272 participants in the race, with teams from Philadelphia Insurance, UnitedHealthcare and CIGNA participating in the race.  In addition, there were over 4,000 participants for the 5K Walk.  The 2011 March of Dimes Philadelphia campaign has raised over $780,000.

“As a business leader in the Philadelphia community, the Run for Babies gave us a unique opportunity to help the community we love, and support this important mission,” said Bryan E. Leib, VP and COO.

“We are so proud to have Leib Solutions support for our inaugural Run for Babies,” said Amanda Young, Executive Director for the Southeastern Pennsylvania March of Dimes. “Leib’s passion for the cause and commitment to helping our babies was a driving factor in the success of our event this year.  The funds raised help support prenatal wellness programs, research grants, neonatal intensive care unit, family support programs and advocacy efforts for stronger, healthier babies.”

“In Philadelphia, one in seven babies was born premature in 2010, and that is just not acceptable to us.  We are committed to seeing this mission through and look forward to a long term partnership with March of Dimes,” said Leib.  “We look forward to seeing you at 2012′s Run for Babies.”
