Delta Management Associates, Inc. (Delta) is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Anderson as Vice President, Business Development to the sales and marketing team. He will be responsible for fostering client relationships within the southeastern territory of the United States.

Tom brings more than 22 years of business development experience, including nearly 20 years within the higher education industry. Prior to joining Delta, Tom served as vice president for Sallie Mae, Inc. Student Loan Funding where he was responsible for managing business development, operations and software development. During his tenure at Sallie Mae, Tom was responsible for implementing product enhancements and developing technology-driven solutions to meet the needs of higher education clients. Tom also served as national sales account executive for the southeast region at the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Authority (PHEAA), where his primary focus was business development for PHEAA’s student loan solutions within the southeastern region of the United States, and he championed the creation of a student loan advisory committee.

“Tom’s substantial student loan industry expertise, thought leadership and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with higher education clients will be an asset to the Delta team. His ability to develop well-rounded, client-focused solutions, which is bolstered by his operations and business development background within the higher education industry, will result in an increased return on investment for Delta’s clients,” said Executive Vice President, Business Development, Joseph J. Fazzini.

Tom has served as a presenter for various workshops, conferences and associations within the higher education industry. He reports to Joseph J. Fazzini, Executive Vice President of Business Development.
