The DBA International (DBA) Certification Council has elected Amy Anuk as Chair of the Certification Council. The 11-member Certification Council is responsible for the administration of DBA’s highly regarded and recognized national Debt Buyer Certification Program.

Ms. Anuk brings over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Encore Capital Group. In this role, she oversees the acquisition of consumer debt portfolios and manages the company’s partnerships with major financial institutions. Under her direction, Encore has invested over $2.6 billion in portfolio purchases. She has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s reputation and reach throughout the financial services sector. She holds an MBA from San Diego State Univeristy.

Committed to the debt buying industry, Ms. Anuk served on the inaugural task force responsible for the creation and launch of the industry’s first Debt Buyer Certification Program. She then served as Chair of the Standards Committee on the Certification Council and is now uniquely prepared to take the helm as Chair of the Certification Council.
