Executive Change: Tom Bohn Named Executive Director of DBA International

MCLEAN, VA – DBA International, the trade association and voice for the debt buying industry, has named Thomas M. Bohn as its executive director following an extensive nationwide search, the organization’s board of directors announced today.

“Tom Bohn is the ideal person to lead DBA International into the future,” said Stuart Blatt, DBA International’s President. “His experience as both a trade association executive coupled with his knowledge of complex financial operations makes him the perfect choice to represent the interests of the debt buying industry.”

“I am looking forward to joining the DBA team and working with the Board of Directors to grow the organization and advocate the important contributions that debt buying and selling provides to the health of the economy,” said Mr. Bohn.

Mr. Bohn has devoted his career to serving trade associations in various leadership capacities. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Institute of Financial Operations, the parent organization for the three leading financial services organizations: International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP), International Accounts Receivable Professionals (IARP) and The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI), with 6,000 document automation and financial shared services practitioners, as members.

Prior to joining IFO in 2008, Mr. Bohn served in several leadership roles with The Institute for Internal Auditors and the Central Florida YMCA in Orlando, Florida.
