Bremer Bank has signed a new five-year agreement to provide Automatic Clearinghouse (ACH) services to InterceptEFT, allowing InterceptEFT to greatly expand processing times for its 16,000 clients. Fargo, N.D. based InterceptEFT is a national leader in payment-processing services and software.

According to Bryan Smith, President and co-founder of InterceptEFT, the new agreement with Bremer will allow InterceptEFT to extend the processing time available to clients by four hours, from 6 p.m. Central currently, to 10 p.m. Central, by July, a move that will provide more options and flexibility for its clients.

“Since we partner exclusively with Bremer for ACH services, this relationship allows our clients seamless service, quality and consistency, plus enhanced processing times,” says Smith. “We are appreciative of our relationship with the Bremer organization and their commitment to service that matches ours,” added Smith.

InterceptEFT processed more than 26 million ACH transactions through Bremer in 2005.

According to Stephanie Ihbe, Senior Vice President of Treasury Management and Payment Services Manager at Bremer, Intercept is a valued business client for Bremer. “We are pleased to extend our relationship into the future with our ACH processing services,” she says.
