Leading debt collection and receivables management firm Financial Recovery Services, Inc. (FRS, http://www.fin-rec.com) is a mid-sized company with a big commitment to giving back. Earlier this month, FRS donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief, and the company has just completed two Habitat for Humanity “A Brush with Kindness” projects.

In the Habitat for Humanity effort, FRS employees covered 47 individual four-hour shifts to paint the exteriors of two homes in the Minneapolis area. In addition to the physical labor, FRS donated $50 for each shift its employees worked on the homes, for a total of $2,350.

“These types of projects go hand in hand with our mission of helping to nurture the communities in which we work and live,” stated FRS president Brian Bowers. “The entire FRS team is delighted to have been able to give of our time and financial resources in such meaningful ways.”

Earlier this month FRS was named for the second time to both Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500″ and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “Growth 50″ lists. The company’s hundreds of employees receive world-class training at the two FRS training facilities and work from two call centers in Edina and Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Since its inception, FRS has been dedicated to supporting a local workforce.

“Our company’s success is dependent on positive organizational and individual involvement within our communities,” Bowers explained. “FRS will continue to seek out opportunities to make our communities stronger.”
