A collection law firm that focuses on government debt collection will be presenting a $5,000 check to the Irving (Texas) YMCA, according to a story in the Dallas Morning News.

Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP is making the donation for the second year in a row. The company’s Regional Manager, Nancy Primeaux, will present the check to Irving YMCA Executive Director Doug Fox at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Irving City Hall.

“Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson believes in making philanthropic investments in the communities where we do business. We value our partnership with both the city and school,” Primeaux said in a news release. “After learning of the wide range of programs available at the Irving YMCA for young people, we are hopeful that our donation will accomplish great things.”

The money will at least partially fund the center’s Play and Learn program, which focuses on literacy and early childhood education.
