Credit Management Group BV, the Netherlands-based holding company of collection agency BvCM, announced today that it is acquiring International Debt Collector Antillia, a former debt collection unit of European ARM giant Intrum Justitia.

IDCA is a small collection agency operating in Willemstad, the territorial capital of the Netherland Antilles.  The acquisition will give CMG a foothold in the hot Caribbean collection market.

“The proposed acquisition of IDCA is part of our strategic initiative to strengthen CMG’s presence in key American and Caribbean markets and to enhance our ability to support our key customers in these markets,” said Andre Groot, Managing Director of CMG.

Following the acquisition, IDCA is expected to change its name to BvCM Antillen N.V. and operate under the Dutch-based umbrella of established collector BvCM. The company will retain its management, sales, marketing and supporting staff, and will continue operations at its current facilities in Willemstad.

Norbert van der Zalm, Managing Director of IDCA said, "We are very pleased to become part of the CMG family and we look forward to represent CMG even more successfully in our future role."

Based in Amsterdam, BvCM has been in business for 10 years and focuses on consumer and commercial non-legal debt collection.
