Our member works for a debt purchaser who places accounts with a third-party agency network. In their auditing, they noticed an increase in calls being tagged as “location information,” significant enough for them to take pause and dig deeper. While they are still investigating, it’s important for our members to continue looking for these seemingly simple or small anomalies to ensure your collectors have not found a creative way to skirt your call frequency controls.
