Last week, I stumbled upon a revelation! The CFPB Supervision and Examination Manual was updated at the beginning of this month. The updates were not unexpected considering the implementation of Regulation F but I was still surprised because the updates came with no formal press release or notice. 

Reading between the lines… 

The CFPB is known for being intentional with their communications so why not this important update? Perhaps they expect that as an industry we will frequently visit their site for information or maybe this is their quiet way of saying to the industry you should be fully compliant with Regulation F now. Either way, the industry should take note of the change and incorporate the changes into your internal gap and risk assessment procedures. 

iA Research Assistant is Seeking Feedback 

For the last two weeks, we have been discussing the real issues surrounding Compliance Burnout. We want to publish an article with your anonymous feedback and responses to the following questions: 

• What compliance support roles are you struggling to fill? Why? Lack of approval for additional resources? Recruiting issues?
