About Buffalo City Mission

The Buffalo City Mission exists to restore hope and dignity to the hurting and homeless through the transforming grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. Each year, thousands of men, women and children in Western New York turn here for a second chance. They start by welcoming them with the basics: a good, nourishing meal, a clean bed in a safe shelter, and any other physical needs people have when they come here for help. They work to pull homelessness and poverty out of people’s lives by the roots, addressing their long-term trauma through education and life skill classes, Christ-centered counseling and spiritual guidance so they can heal, inside and out. Buffalo City Mission believes that everyone deserves a second chance in life. Our heart is for helping our neighbors who have been trapped in destructive patterns of homelessness, addiction or abuse. Giving them the support and strength to break free through the grace of God. Join our mission to alleviate homelessness by restoring people’s hope and dignity – and help them live a life of meaning and purpose again. Visit us online at www.buffalocitymission.com
