Commercial Collection Agencies of America Gives Back

Chicago, Ill. — Commercial Collection Agencies of America announced that through its initiative, Commercial Collection Agencies of America Gives Back, a portion of the proceeds of its recently held annual conference along with individual members’ donations, have been given to the Myla’s Beleaf, an organization which provides financial support to families who have been affected by childhood cancer. 

At the Association’s Welcome Dinner, founding CCA of A member and past president, Bruce Godwin introduced the members to Myla’s Beleaf, explained its mission and its importance to his late brother and their family.  A “not so silent” auction was held and members generously donated.  At the General Membership meeting the next day, a formal vote was taken to choose Myla’s Beleaf as the recipient of funds in honor of Mr. Jim Godwin.

Since its inception, Commercial Collection Agencies of America has been fortunate to donate a portion of the profits from each of its conferences to the following organizations, amongst many others:
