LocateSmarter Adds New VoIP Identification Product

VoIP, short for Voice over Internet Protocols, is beginning to appear more frequently as a substitute for traditional telephone communication. According to Statista, there were as many as 34 million VoIP users in the United States in 2013 and the number continues to rise. According to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), auto-dialed calls are prohibited to phone numbers that can incur additional charges for use – like cell phones – unless prior consent is given.
