PRA Group (Nasdaq:PRAA), a global leader in acquiring defaulted receivables, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah G. Cassidy as a new member of PRA Group’s executive management team. Cassidy will serve as chief information officer (CIO) for the company.

“Deborah is an exciting addition to our team. She will be responsible for the technology systems and deliveries for all PRA companies,” said Kevin Stevenson, executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer. “Deborah will oversee all enterprise corporate systems in North America and Europe to enhance and integrate our information technology to better position the company for future growth.”

Cassidy reports to Stevenson and has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience. She has worked across several industries; the last 10 years of her career have been in the financial services industry.

Most recently, Cassidy was senior vice president and business chief information officer for Genworth Financial, Inc. Prior to that she served seven years with Allianz Assistance as vice president and chief information officer and 15 years with the Tredegar Corporation.

Cassidy earned a Master of Science degree in management information technology from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and information systems from Mary Baldwin College.
