MUNCIE, Ind. – Ontario Systems, a leading accounts receivable technology and services provider, announced today that it will be supplying a variety of digital media from Chief Compliance Officer Rozanne Andersen after the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) open meeting on June 18, in order to analyze and comment on the proceedings both in real time and after the event. Andersen will offer insight in real time via Twitter, provide post-event commentary on the company’s blog and co-host a live webinar with Ontario Systems Product Management Director Rip Harris at 10 a.m. ET on June 19.

The FCC’s open meeting – to be broadcast live over the web on June 18 – has been scheduled to consider a Declaratory Ruling and Order reaffirming Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) protections against unwanted robocalls, encouraging pro-consumer uses of robocall technology in response to a number of requests for clarity from businesses and other callers. By issuing declaratory rulings, the FCC will avoid the required notice and opportunity for public comment. If adopted, those rulings will be considered effective immediately upon release.

“We plan to analyze the arguments both for and against each petition for declaratory relief, expound on the commissioners’ reactions to each proposal, predict the impact of the commissioners’ decisions on the ARM industry and identify both long-term and short-term solutions,” Andersen says. “By doing so, we hope to put our customers, and the industry as a whole, in a better position to react quickly and accordingly.”

Those interested are urged to follow Andersen on Twitter, subscribe to the Ontario Systems Blog and register for the follow-up webinar. Details concerning the open meeting are available at fcc.gov.
