InsideARM.com readers overwhelmingly chose “Stick to the Budget” as the winner of the Collection Story Contest. With nearly 50 percent of the overall vote, readers loved the tale of a debt collector who twice helped a family create a financial plan that allowed them to pay off their debt and—two years later—buy a house.
The Collection Story Contest, insideARM.com’s first contest for front line collectors, was a success, with hundreds of submissions and votes over the past few weeks. insideARM.com today is also announcing the launch of the next contest: a search for the ARM industry’s best Break Space.
Irene, who works at Account Recovery Specialists, Inc. (ARSI), told a story that illustrates how professionalism, respect, and a little extra effort on the part of a debt collector succeeded in satisfying an account for an agency while opening a door to a new home for a consumer. For winning the contest, Irene will receive a $50 gift card to Amazon.com.
