The Receivables Management Association (RMA) of Canada is pleased to announce the launch of a blog feature on their website. The blog is an effort by the membership to cover various topics relevant to the credit community in Canada.  It can be found here: http://www.rmacanada.org/RMABlog

The vision of the RMA is to serve as a national association extending into every province and territory to set the professional standards of the Canadian credit industry.  The Association works with its members to promote the activities of all those connected to the industry by bringing their concerns to the attention of the authoritative bodies that control day-to-day activities.  RMA members come from diverse segments of the financial sector, and often have mutual goals. To serve those members, the Association is pledged to promote and support these shared areas of interest on behalf of everyone in the industry.

The first article is by Doug Hoyes of the bankruptcy trustee frim Hoyes & Michalos, on the subject of creditors evaluating consumer proposals.

If you are a credit professional in Canada, and are interested in contributing to the RMA blog, we would invite you to send an email to info@rmacanada.org for more details.
