National Recovery Agency, a nationally recognized Revenue Recovery Company, has successfully completed SAS (Statement of Auditing Standards) 70 Audit.
SAS 70 is an auditing standard developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) The primary purpose of this standard is to allow organizations to disclose information regarding their control activities and processes to customers and (customer auditors) in a uniform format. SAS 70 involves a review of existing controls utilizing industry standards for audit. At the conclusion of the examination ?Service Auditors Report? is issued wherein the independent auditor will offer an opinion regarding the effectiveness of existing controls. SAS 70 audit is a preferred method of proving compliance ? process of reporting effective internal controls within service organizations clients subject to section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. In June of this year NRA joined a select group of 36 collection agencies worldwide that have received recognition by the American Collectors Association. – PPMS (Professional Practices Management System) Program.
