Thomas Hicks joins OSI as the new senior vice president – portfolio acquisitions – sales and Craig Manseth has been promoted to senior vice president ? portfolio acquisitions – strategy. ?The placement of these outstanding individuals signals to the marketplace that OSI is committed to the debt purchasing industry in a major way,? says President and CEO Kevin Keleghan.
Hicks brings to OSI 25 years of proven sales experience. Prior to joining OSI he served as a senior vice president with responsibilities including portfolio sales and sales development. OSI will benefit from Hicks? management experience in the sale of charged-off debt and performing portfolios as well as his numerous debt-sellers contacts. His primary role will be to identify profitable portfolio purchases and partnership opportunities.
Manseth?s four years of experience in portfolio acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis support for OSI and his 16 years of relevant financial-based experience will be valuable assets to his new responsibilities for the OSI analytic team, sales support team and resales.
OSI was one of the largest purchasers of distressed-debt from 1995 to 2002. In 2002 OSI put the debt purchasing business on hold while negotiating a new credit facility.
