SIMM Associates, Inc., held an official groundbreaking ceremony on June 5th, 2006, to mark the construction of their new headquarters. The new building will allow SIMM to continue its unbelievable growth and continue to be a leader in the collection industry by employing a top-notch collection and management team.
?It?s a great day in our history as a company and a family,? comments Greg Simendinger, President and CEO of SIMM?s. ?Our new site will be state-of-the-art and we?re very excited for our employees. It will be our new home and it?s literally the building blocks for the future of SIMM Associates.?
The new building will be over 32,000 sq. feet and will accommodate approximately 350 collectors. The building is expected to be completed by October 30th, 2006. ?We?re looking to add over 100 collectors to our staff within the next 8-12 months,? stated Jeff Simendinger, EVP and COO. ?We are continuing our tremendous growth and the new building is just the next step in our overall vision for the company.?
The groundbreaking was attended by several dignitaries? including the Governor of Delaware, Ruth Ann Minner, New Castle County Executive Chris Coons, Director of Redevelopment Karl Kalbacher, Director of Economic Development Judy McKinney-Cherry, Councilman David Tackett, and Mr. Robert Cox of Wilmington Trust Company. Additionally, attending from SIMM Associates were Greg Simendinger, Jeff Simendinger, Brad Simendinger, Leslie Simendinger, Crystal Simendinger, Pamela Simendinger, Charles Boarman, Wendy Griffith, Dana Greene, Don Newcomb, Chuck Kim, and several Department Managers.
