Telemarketing Company Sitel to Cut 170 Jobs in Restructuring

Sitel Corp. said Thursday that it is cutting 170 jobs as part of a restructuring plan designed to save up to $14 million a year.

The telemarketing company said it is primarily eliminating operating, selling and administrative positions in North America and Europe.

“The majority of the eliminated jobs are administrative,” spokesman Bill Sims said.
