Experian Establishes the World’s Most Comprehensive Consumer Classification System

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The world’s wealthiest nations can be divided into ten different kinds of consumers according to Experian, the global information solutions company. The findings are the result of a complete rebuild of Experian’s Mosaic Global — the world’s most comprehensive consumer classification system. Mosaic Global classifies more than a billion consumers worldwide covering a third of the surface area of the Earth and is available in all of the world’s most prosperous economies including China, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Mosaic Global reveals that the developed world can be classified into ten distinctive socio-economic groups. These include names such as Post Industrial Survivors, Low Income Elders and Sophisticated Singles.
