The American Heart Association’s (AHA) ‘Go Red for Women’ celebrates the energy, passion and power of women who band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke.

“Employee wellness partnerships such as the AHA’s Go Red initiative, creates an opportunity in workplaces such as ours, to engage employees in increased health prevention and awareness, while at work and after-hours in improving one’s personal health,” states Beverly J. According to a recent national study released from the AHA, Heart disease remains the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year.
