Hospitals will receive a 0.8 percent increase for inpatient stays from Medicare, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced Friday.
CMS published the proposed reimbursement policies and rates for healthcare providers for 2014. After a public comment period that runs until June 25, the rules will be finalized and then go into effect on Oct. 1, 2013.
