VANCOUVER, WA ? Columbia Ultimate, the industry expert in providing software and integrated solutions for collecting money, announced today that it has partnered with LexisNexis, a leading provider of legal, news and business information service, to integrate LexisNexis Accurint® skip-tracing service to help the collections industry better locate debtors.
The Accurint skip-tracing service will be available through The Collector System 2005.2, the newest version of the company flagship collections tracking and management system. Used by more than 25 percent of the collections market nationwide, The Collector System is a comprehensive and cost-effective collections system that is flexible and customizable to meet the needs of any organization.
?Providing direct access to Accurint into The Collector System platform means that our customers can now integrate their skip tracing directly into their account management,? said R. Fred Houston, president, Columbia Ultimate. ?This value-add offering will help increase collections efficiency, allow fewer collectors to contact more qualified debtors, and help lower overall business operating costs for our customers.?
Accurint combines innovative data-linking technology with in-depth LexisNexis data content to provide multiple points of contact from a single query. Accurint cleans debtor account information and helps eliminate unproductive call attempts by identifying bankrupt and deceased individuals.
?Half of all accounts received for collections require some form of skip tracing and 35 percent of delinquent debtors move annually,? said Dane Mauldin, vice president of collections solutions for LexisNexis Risk Management business unit. ?This integration of Accurint directly into The Collector System means that collectors can simply queue up a new phone number or other debtor report while they continue working within a single software platform. This will shorten the collections cycle, and improve the return on each dollar spent.?
