Through aggressive and successful debt collection, the state of Nevada has collected more than $5 million dollars, according to an AP news story and the state’s controller, Kathy Augustine.
While the controller’s office does some collecting on its own, it also has a contract with OSI Collection Services, a private debt collection firm.
