ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Optio Solutions, LLC., an accounts receivable management company, announced that Healthcare Services Consultant Christy Davies, along with former colleagues Cindy Lohmann and Monica Kessel, has been awarded a financial grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® foundation. The grant, administered through St. Benedicts Family Medical Center in Jerome, Idaho, will provide up to 150 mammograms to underinsured and impoverished women in the Southern Idaho area.
Previous to her work with Optio Solutions, Davies held clinical and medical administration positions and was recently the Community Affairs and Marketing Director for St. Benedicts. Davies currently does volunteer work with St. Benedicts to provide services to the healthcare population in the Southern Idaho area.
“This grant will provide underinsured women in the Jerome area the opportunity to take an important step in the prevention of breast cancer. We are thrilled to put this program in place and thank the Komen group for making it possible,” said Davies.
