I.C. System recently hosted the 13th Annual I.C. System Charity Golf Tournament at Bristol Ridge Golf Course in Somerset, Wisconsin.  This year’s tournament proceeds benefited two charities, The Heidi Kunz Memorial Scholarship Fund and Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation.

“We appreciate the generosity shown by I.C. System.  With their help the Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation was able to raise $150,000 toward the construction of the Fisher House at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, as well as providing assistance to individuals in need,” said Tom McDonough, Father of fallen soldier Bryan McDonough.

The Fisher House™ program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America’s military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.  These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times – during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury – free of charge.

The Heidi Kunz Memorial Scholarship Fund supports a scholarship that is given each year to an exemplary female high school student attending Mahtomedi High School.  The fund was created in memory of an I.C. System employee’s sister who was killed in a car accident.

The annual I.C. System charity golf event has supported a variety of charities in its 13 year history and consistently provides a great social event for vendors, clients and employees alike. “We are overwhelmed each year by the participation of our golfers and the money they donate above and beyond the entry fee, all in the name of charity.  And we are thankful to have numerous business affiliates who donate prizes and sponsor holes.  It is really a great event,” said Mary Hiles.

The Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting Minnesota servicemen and women returning from deployments around the world.  The Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation was established to support soldiers adjusting to life with the physical and psychological wounds of war.

I.C. System, a privately owned company founded in 1938, provides accounts receivable management services for 20,000 clients within many industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail, utility, and communications.  Headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., I.C. System has offices in Iowa, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
