After two collection agencies last week announced job opportunities at their call centers, another has said that it needs to fill 60 positions in southern New York.

Nationwide Credit Inc. said it wants to fill about 60 job openings at its call center in Vestal, New York in the next two months, according to local paper the Press & Sun-Bulletin. The openings are for customer service and debt collection.

The office is NCI’s largest, employing around 500 people.

“This is traditionally a period of the year that we ramp up,” John Fisher, chief operating officer of customer solutions for Altisource, NCI’s parent, told the paper. “The utility space has seasonal call volume that grows in the spring. We do have some other clients that we’ve brought in. The site is growing.”
